Block Quote

Block Quote is a selected block of text which is then indented to produce a specific style.

Block Quote is annotated in the left and top structure bar as <blockquote>

The style for a BlockQuote text element is formatted in the main stylesheet as <blockquote>

In the example below, the text is selected, including the heading, then indented using either the keyboard TAB key or the Paragraph indent tool. A specific style can be selected on creation.

A class-item called I-Topics has been created within the main stylesheet of this project and is used for creating indented text with a top-bottom border and a shaded background.

Removing a BlockQuote

To restore BlockQuote indented text to normal formatted text, right-click over the <blockquote> tab in the structure bar and select Unbind from the context menu.
